And then, everything changed in 2020. A year that wrecked the wedding industry; my business included. Personally though, it gave me space to change. Change for me started when, in an effort to make up for the profit lost, I started a vegetable garden. What started as a simple need with little expectations grew into something that shocked me.
Absolute abundance. Overflowing tomato vines, okra taller than me, cucumbers for every meal, zucchini, squash and pumpkins spilling out covering the sidewalk. What I had done simply was incredibly gorgeous, fulfilling and ever changing. To feel it grow and know it started from something so small: a miracle.
