Textured, Dried, Neutral Tones
With Maroon Orchids
This boho rustic wedding was a unique one for me. Texture was essential for this gal’s day. We foraged dried, cream, textured fillers and olive toned foliage. My favorites were the lush neutral roses and deep maroon orchids. Yep, orchids everywhere! Draping over the circle arch, across the sweetheart table and of course, they made a statement in all the bouquets. This beauty of a wedding took place at Sacred Mountain in Julian. This venue is lush and rustic, just like this wedding flower style!
Keegan was such a kind human being to work with. To be completely honest, a mistake was made with her wedding florals. Yep, it happens to the best of us, dear friends. I was beyond embarrassed and apologetic. This sweet bride actually went out of her way to message me on instagram and say that she loved the flowers and was thankful for our work. What?! To say I was thankful is an understatement. This kind of kindness makes me confident on hard days. I am not exaggerating. Like at all. When I’m questioning myself and everything about this work, I sometimes think back to Keegan and the fact that it’s going to be ok.
Seriously, if you are ever questioning reaching out to a stranger and being kind, I encourage you to do it. You have no idea how much it can mean to them.
