Josh + Jamie
A Yellow Bohemian Celebration
While setting up for Josh and Jamie's wedding it felt like I was in a golden mountain wedding dream. The golden wheat covered the hillsides and aisle. There were proteas, rust orchids, bright yellow spider mums, pepper berry just dripping everywhere. Yeah, it was quite a day. This was actually one of my favorite ceremony spots I think I've ever done! We framed the aisle with tall bunches of golden grain and at the end of the aisle was a huge circle arbor covered with bright green pepper berry and every shade of gold, yellow and rust-colored blooms. See what I mean about a golden mountain wedding dream!
For their tables, Josh and Jamie wanted to do something a little different. They decided on a styled flat lay of pepper berry, orchids, orange ranunculus, and other bright blooms. Each place setting had a mustard-colored napkin. The sweetheart table was another favorite spot! They had a large sign behind it and a grate which we covered with greens twined through it. So pretty!
I gotta tell you about that gorgeous pepper berry. So, on the way to the venue, Brooke and I stopped on the side of the road and foraged it! We wanted it to be fresh and perfect for this wedding. But, we kept seeing pieces we liked more and more that soon we had WAY too much. It absolutely filled the car! The extra we spread down the stairs to the cocktail hour and in other key places. Ah, what a day!
